Dr Jason Wendt BVSc - Partner Jason attended Ipswich Boys Grammar, graduated with first class honours from the University of Queensland in 1996 and has worked in the local area ever since. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience in all areas of veterinary medicine in both domestic and farm animals. He is particularly interested in small animal internal medicine and critical care and regularly attends further-education courses on the subjects. When not at work he can be found at home spending time with his three sons, moving irrigation pipes and playing with his cows. |

Dr Craig Render BVSc - Partner Craig grew up locally and graduated from the University of Queensland in 1995. After spending four years in mixed-animal practice in the UK he then returned home to form part of the team at Booval Vet Hospital and has helped Jason establish Karalee Village Vet Clinic since it opened in 2005. He enjoys all aspects of veterinary life but is particulary keen on radiography (x-rays), thoracic medicine and formulating the personal relationships with clients that develop in general practice. Craig spends some of his working days at our other clinic at Pine Mountain and enjoys his time off by reading, kayaking and spending time with his young family. At home he has two naughty Border Terriers called Max and Taz. |

Dr Stacey Lyons BVSc - Veterinarian
Stacey Lyons is caring, enthusiastic, friendly vet and joined the team at Booval Vet Hospital in 2008 and has now also joined the team at KVVC. She has a special interest in emergency medicine and critical care but enjoys all aspects of her job. Stacey has two dogs called Mallie and Scruffy, one cat called Elmo and one horse called Shazzy. When not at work she enjoys spending her time going to the gym, playing netball and watching movies. |

Jessica Pettingill - Head Nurse
Jess has been with the clinic since it opened in 2005 and has been a vital part of its continued growth ever since. Some of our clients would recognise her from her time at our Booval Vet Hospital where she worked from 2003. Jess is our fully-qualified head nurse and, as such, enjoys caring for all pets from a young age, running puppy pre-school, the challenges of surgical nursing and basically keeping the whole clinic running smoothly. When not at work she spends her time playing golf, watching her husband play in his band and watching the Eagles lose AFL games. She has two cats called Jack and Delta and one dog called Kirra. |

Camille Leonard - Veterinary Nurse Camille lives locally and is currently studying Year 12 at Saint Mary’s College. She has decided to broaden her education by joining the team as a veterinary nurse on a part-time basis, after having spent time with us during work-experience. Camille has a passion for learning and animal care and is set to become a regular feature of the clinic. She has one dog called Pepe and spends her spare time shopping, competing in athletics and tackling cross-country. |

Gary Fitzgerald - Veterinary Nurse Gary is a local lad who attended Lowood State Highschool and joined the clinic in 2008 after completing a Bachelor of Applied Science (Vet Tech) at UQ. He has a real passion for working one-on-one with patients and this extends to his hobby; breeding reptiles. Gary has 45 snakes, lizards and turtles along with 5 Guinea Pigs, several birds and one fat cat called Chouder. When not at work, and not looking after his pets, he enjoys playing basketball. |

Shelli Hume - Professional Groomer Shelli has been with the clinic since it opened in 2005 and forms an important part of the team. She has been a professional groomer since 1995 and has gained an excellent reputation in the local area since then through her mobile service. Shelli is a helpful, friendly member of the team with a real passion for caring for pets. When not at work she spends time going to dog shows, taking her daughter to dance competitions and going to the movies. She has three dogs called Ella, Bloosom and Gabe. Shelli is available for full clips, minor trims and full-service hydrobaths but bookings are essential, so call the clinic today. |
